THE PLACE
Ennerdale has a darker, wilder character than many parts of the Lakes. Woodland, fell and water come together in a way that feels raw and full of contrast, especially when the weather turns and the colours deepen. That stayed with us. Dark fruit against earthy warmth, softened with honey, but never made too sweet. We wanted the scent to keep that wild character.
THE SCENT
Dark berries and blackcurrant bring the acidity first, followed by green leaves and clove. Honey rounds the sharper fruit without making it overly sweet, while tobacco, moss and warm woods add depth and a dry, earthy finish.
